Skin conformal dry electrodes for impedance plethysmography measurements

Project title: Skin conformal dry electrodes for impedance plethysmography measurements

Project description: This project aims to improve the measurement system of impedance plethysmography, through the designing, fabricating, testing and validating of wearable and conformable dry electrodes paving the way for strengthening research in biomedicine, particularly in the early detection of vascular diseases. The Ph.D. emerged through the collaboration between the Sensing Technologies Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, experts in electrodes fabrication and characterization and the Oslo Bioimpedance Group at the Department of Physics at Oslo University and the Department of Clinical and Biomedical Engineering of the Oslo University Hospital, which specializes in bioimpedance measurement.

Project Collaborators: Dr. Christian Tronstad, Oslo Hospital University, Norway
