Short biography
Camilo Tellez Villamizar obtained his bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of San Buenaventura (Colombia, South America). He obtained his master’s degree in Nanoelectronics Systems at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany, and during that time he completed diverse internships in different institutions (i.e., Fraunhofer IKTS (Dresden, Germany), Max Bergmann Institute (Dresden, Germany), Technion Institute Israel (Haifa, Israel)) on the field of flexible electronics and printing technologies for sensor development. In addition, Camilo has almost 9 years of teaching experience in different universities in Colombia in the fields of telecommunications and RF-MEMS and 17 years as an IEEE volunteer in their country and Latin-American, where he performed various roles such as: IEEE Electron Devices Society Chair (Colombia Section), IEEE NTC R9 Regional Chapter Coordinators; respectively.
He is currently a PhD student in the Advanced System Engineering program and carries out his research in the "Sensing Technologies Lab" and his current research interests are: Bioimpedance, Design and Fabrication Electrodes and Printing Technologies.
