RYLA Junior 2023

On Saturday, May 6, Martina Costa Angeli, PhD, participated as a speaker at the fourth edition of the RYLA junior camp international organized by Rotary Bressanone in the magnificent venue of the Abbey of Novacella. The talk focused on the activities being carried out at the Sensing Technology Lab, a research group led by Prof. Paolo Lugli and Prof. Luisa Petti of the new Faculty of Engineering, on sustainable electronics. During the talk they discussed how conventional electronics can be used intelligently to reduce food waste throughout the supply chain and how at the same time they are working to reduce e-waste by replacing conventional electronics with fully biodegradable electronics. A stimulating and interested discussion ensued during the talk, demonstrating the students’ interest in sustainability and the importance of involving even younger people in research.
