Short Biography
Anna Goncharenko received her bachelor's degree in 2019 from Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) and her master's degree in 2021 from Saint-Petersburg ITMO University (Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics). In her bachelor's degree, she focused more on cell biology, while her master's project focused on chemical synthesis and printing technologies. During her master’s degree she had a three-month research internship at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD; Vila Real, Portugal). Between 2022 and 2024, she held the position of research assistant at the Molecular Endocrinology laboratory in Moscow.
She is currently a PhD student in the Advanced Systems Engineering program working on developing transistor gas sensors for agricultural applications. Anna's PhD is supported by the European Union's ESF+ (ESF2_f3_0003) Excellence scholarships for doctoral students on topics of strategic relevance for South Tyrol. Her current research interests are: Technology of manufacturing transistor gas sensors based on different materials
