Short Biography
Giuseppe Ciccone studied Biomedical Engineering (2016) and Industrial Bioengineering (2018) at Università degli studi di Napoli Federico II. He then worked (2019) at Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata on photoelectrochemical cells for neuronal stimulation. From November 2019, he pursued his PhD on organic electronics and biointerfaces at Technische Universität Dresden, and he graduated in May 2023 discussing the thesis “Novel OLEDs architectures for multicolor Optogenetics”. In October 2023, he joined the Sensing and Technologies Lab as a research assistant, where he is currently working on wearable sensors.
