Short Biography
Arvind Gurusekaran holds a Master’s degree in Printing and Media Technology from a dual-degree program between Manipal Institute of Technology (India) and Technische Universität Chemnitz (Germany). His Master’s thesis explored ‘Inkjet printing of conductive patterns on textiles for wearable applications’. Arvind has professional experience at the National Centre for Flexible Electronics, IIT Kanpur(India), where he specialized in optimizing conductive and functional inks for inkjet and screen printing processes. He also served as a production supervisor at Syndicate RFID in Goa, overseeing the large-scale fabrication of screen-printed RFID tags. Currently, Arvind is pursuing his PhD at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Unibz), focusing on ‘additive manufacturing of components for space-based applications’. In addition, he is a Research Assistant on the EU-funded ‘Sestosenso’ project, collaborating with the Field Robotics Lab at NOI Techpark.
