His MSc project was on extraction of valuable compounds from microalgae using pulsed electric field and high-pressure homogenization. Now he is conducting PhD in food engineering and biotechnology at University of Bolzano-Bozen (sensing technologies laboratory). He is doing the research work entitled “Development of different kinds of biosensors which are modified with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) to detect food toxicants, such as mycotoxin (aflatoxin M1(AFM1) from milk and ochratoxin A (OTA) from grapes and wine), heavy metal from fish and antibiotic residues from meat and dairy products”. He has published several scientific papers in different international journals.
