Short Biography

Pietro Ibba obtained bachelor’s degree in Industrial Biotechnologies (2015), and master’s degree in Food Quality and safety (2017), from Tuscia University, Viterbo, Italy. His MSc project focused on the use of NIR spectroscopy and IOT for precision viticulture applications. Now he is conducting a Ph.D. in food engineering and biotechnology at University of Bolzano-Bozen at the Sensing Technologies Laboratory. His current research work is focusing on the development of Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy methods for the characterization of fruit quality.
